The ambulance team and all doctors and nurses were very good and caring. Were I found confusion was from the Friday that I was told that I needed a ctscan before I could come home but by Saturday pm still wasn’t done And I was discharged and told that I would have to come back this week for the scan and I would get an appointment. Today my husband was told that the scan was cancelled and couldn’t get more info. I have an appointment for the 27 of May at the general surgery hot clinic in writing and I presume I should have had the scan done for it. I do not want to cancell that appointment especially that I am in quite a bit of disconfort and I would appreciate some answers

Suggested improvements
Just a clearer situation as I told above

There was no delay, I was kept informed all questions were answered. Very professional service with understanding and empathy.

Suggested improvements
I always find Queens Hospital very confusing, but there is not much you can do about that

There was a long waiting time (16 hours approx) with no indication how much longer one would have to wait. However, the medical team could not have been more thorough, polite and professional, I was very impressed with the level of treatment I received.

Suggested improvements
I received treatment that gave me peace of mind and had an excellent doctor who performed lots of tests to reassure me.

The treatment was good I felt there was a lack of communication about waiting times etc Possibly there could be light up signs giving this info etc

Suggested improvements
Nothing could be better because the vast amount of people who needed attention this restricted the amount that staff had to deal with this they were all working flat out

I was in lot of pain due to gallstones. Surgery was done which I believe has saved my life.

Suggested improvements
I was kept waiting in a chair. More beds need to be provided to Queens hospital to deal with emergencies.

I was dismayed and very upset at the length of time I was in each department eye clinic and emergency department , but I will say the nurse is charge was very specific with the information that she conveyed in fact she was lovely , and made it clear of wait times , the eye clinic was much the same lovely staff ,all doctors involved in my care were thorough friendly and caring

Suggested improvements
What I found very annoying , if you transition to another department , your wait time starts from the moment you attend the next department , yes to make sure that there are enough doctors for each department , but i understand that the staff absolutely do the best they can , in a very difficult situation that they find themselves in , staff were helpful and thorough
